At its regular meeting convened on April 30, 2019, the Tribal Council of the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa adopted the Meskwaki Housing Policies and Procedures.
In addition to the newly adopted revisions passed on April 30, 2019, a Minimum Income Requirement for eligibility for tribal housing has also been proposed. Such approval of this requirement is subject to consideration of comments during a thirty (30) day public comment period.
Accordingly, a copy of the proposed Minimum Income Requirement will be available for public comment May 6, 2019 through June 5, 2019. You may pick up a copy of the proposed section, and also a copy of the newly adopted Meskwaki Housing Policies and Procedures, at the Tribal Center Front Desk (349 Meskwaki Road) or the Meskwaki Housing Office (100 East Village Road).
