Empowering our families by providing a collaborative platform to address child support matters in an environment of respect, honesty, humility and compassion.
Meskwaki Nation Child Support Services:
Our vision is for healthy children who are strengthened by the consistent emotional, physical, educational, social, spiritual, cultural, and financial support of their parents and the Meskwaki Tribal community.
- MNCSS promotes the sacredness of our children
- MNCSS reaffirms the shared responsibility of parenting
- MNCSS honors the traditions of the tribe
Meskwaki Elders Circle
The Meskwaki Elders Circle (MEC) helps our families who are referred by Meskwaki Nation Child Support Services. When using MEC, an agreement will be reached through consensus on how to best meet the financial and emotional needs of the family and their child (children).
It serves the Tribe’s interest to strengthen families, even those no longer in one household, by opening communication and helping members of those families work together to meet the needs for future generations.
