The Diabetes Prevention Program will be having an information session this evening, November 20th from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the Health Clinic.
This lifestyle improvement program uses evidence based CDC curriculum to teach participants to make lasting lifestyle changes, like eating healthier, adding physical activity into their daily routine, and improving coping skills.
The objective of this program is to prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes with a 5-7% weight reduction and increase in physical activity.
